This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioner is an accused in T.R. Case No.360 of 2020, on the files of learned District and Sessions Judge, Khurdha, arising out of P.R. Case No.53 of 2020-21 under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c) of N.D.P.S. Act and is in custody since 11.09.2020. 4.

Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.439 Cr.P.C. by the learned District & Sessions Judge, Khurda, At Bhubaneswar, by order dated 23.12.2020 in the aforementioned case, the present BLAPL has been filed.

This Court by order dated 31.01.2022 in I.A. No.83 of 2022 directed the release of the petitioner for a period of one month. 6.

It is stated at the bar that even after the expiry of the period because of supervening circumstances the petitioner could not surrender.

Be that as it may, the petitioner has betrayed the trust reposed in him. This Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. 8.

Accordingly, the BLAPL stands dismissed.
