ORDER

1. The prayer in the present petition was that the plot in question, which was earmarked for a club house, should not be permitted to be utilized for any other purpose, particularly by the private Opposite Parties 5 and 6 for any commercial purpose, by the Jharsuguda Regional Improvement Trust (JRIT) as well as the Jharsuguda Municipality.

2. As noted in the previous date i.e. on 3rd August 2022, none has been appearing for Opposite Parties 3 to 6 despite service of notice. The same position continues today as well. There has been an interim order requiring the parties to maintain status quo since 22nd March, 2013 and that is continuing till date.

3. In the circumstances, the said interim order is made absolute and a direction is issued to the Opposite Parties 3 and 4 to not allow

Opposite Parties 5 and 6 to use the plot in question for any purpose other than the earmarked purpose.

4. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
