This matter is taken up through Videoconferencing Mode. 2.

Heard Mr. Ray, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Mr. Samal, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr. Ray, grievance of the Petitioners relates to non-disbursement of the compensation amount after their land was acquired under the Direct Purchase Scheme. 4.

During course of hearing, learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that liberty may be granted to the Petitioner to approach the Collector, Jajpur for redressal of their grievances and further prays that a direction may be made to the said authority to take a decision on the same within a specific time period.

Considering such submission and without going into merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the Petitioners to file a grievance petition before the Collector, Jajpur-Opposite Party No.2 within a period of one week hence along with certified copy of this order by speed post/registered post. In the event the Collector, Jajpur receives a copy of the above noted grievance petition, he is directed to take a decision on the same in

// 2 // accordance with law within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of the above noted grievance petition and communicate the result of such exercise to Petitioner No.4, who in turn is directed to share such information with other Petitioners. 6.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
