This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.
2. Heard Mr. A.K. Acharya, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate for the opposite parties.
3. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite party no.1 to take a decision with regard to release of pension/family pension and other terminal benefits of her late husband in terms of the information furnished by opposite party no.3 vide Annexrue8 series within a stipulated period.
4. As it appears, opposite party no.3-Block Development Officer, Paikamal vide Annexure-8 series dated 16.11.2021 has submitted report about the petitioner to opposite party no.1. It is contended that the same is pending for consideration and direction may be issued to consider the
same.
5. Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.1 to take a decision with regard to release of pension/family pension and other terminal benefits of the late husband of the petitioner on the basis of the report submitted by opposite party no.3 vide Annexure-8 series dated 16.11.2021 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production/communication of the certified copy of this order.
6. Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
