Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2021 in connection with Jatni P.S. Case No.214 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.229 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. Jatni for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/294/323/354/326/307/506 of IPC.

Having regard to the severity of the allegations and the availability of the materials prima facie in support thereof as also the investigation into the case is in progress, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is, therefore, rejected. It is open to the petitioner to renew his prayer after submission of charge sheet.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
