1. The affidavit dated 10th January, 2022 filed on behalf of the Opposite Parties 1 to 3 is taken on record. It is stated that compensation has been paid to the victims identified thus far.
2. The only grievance of Ms. K. R. Choudhury, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner is that there should be periodical awareness programmes on lightning strikes amongst the general populace.
3. Learned Additional Government Advocate for the State submits that even earlier such awareness programmes had been held. She assures the Court that similar programmes on periodical basis would be conducted all over the State.
4. Considering the submissions made, no further directions are called for. The petition is disposed of.
