2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

3. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Bhadrak Rural P.S. Case No.442 of 2021 corresponding to Special (NDPS) Case No.127 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Special (NDPS) Judge, Bhadrak for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 21(c)/29 of NDPS Act.

4. Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity being 1 Kg 40 grams of brown sugar, out of which 515 grams were recovered from the petitioner, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected.

5. The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
