This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Video Conferencing/Physical Mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.
This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners in connection with Baramba P.S. Case No.18 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.18 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Baramba for alleged commission of offences under sections 294/506/34 of
// 2 // the Indian Penal Code and sections 25(1-B)(a) and 27 of the Arms Act.
Learned counsel for the State on verification of the case diary submitted that the petitioners have got number of criminal antecedents.
In view of available material on record and particularly the criminal antecedents against the petitioners, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners, I direct that in the event petitioners surrender and move for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by the Court below as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. The case diary be made available before the Court concerned for disposal of the case.
The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
