Heard Mr. S.K. Joshi, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.

A.R.

Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate.

According to Mr. Joshi, the petitioners are aggrieved by the non-disposal of their application filed under Section 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 during 2018 pending before the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Balangir (opposite party no.3) vide Annexure-1. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the said opposite party to dispose of the said case expeditiously.

Considering the submission made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party no.3 to dispose of the application

// 2 // under Annexure-1 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner no.1, who in turn shall share such information with petitioner no.2.

The writ application is accordingly disposed of. 6.
