This matter is taken up today in the National Lok Adalat through hybrid mode.

Mr.Tribikram Patnaik, Regional Manager-Legal, Reliance General Insurance Company Ltd. and Mr.P.K.Mishra, learned counsel for the Claimants-Respondents are present. The memo in support of the compromise between the AppellantInsurance Company and Respondents-Claimant is kept in the record.

The learned Additional District Judge-cum-IIIrd M.A.C.T., Bargarh in an application under Section 163-A of the Motor Vehicles Act, had directed the Appellant-Insurance Company to pay a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one lakh only) with interest @ 7.5% per annum to the Claimants-Respondents
// 2 // from the date of filing of the application., i.e., 11.10.2010 within a period of two months, vide judgment dated 29.09.2016 passed in M.A.C. No.95/19 of 2010-16.

It is now agreed between the Appellant-Insurance Company and Respondents-Claimants that a consolidated amount of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty thousand only) shall be paid by the Insurance Company to the RespondentsClaimants within a period of eight weeks. 5.
It is therefore directed that the Appellant-Insurance Company shall deposit the aforesaid consolidated amount of Rs.1,50,000/- (Rupees one lakh fifty thousand only) within a period of eight weeks from today before the Tribunal, which shall be apportioned by the Tribunal amongst the RespondentsClaimants. 6.
As the settlement is arrived at before the National Lok Adalat, no court fee shall be levied. On production of proof of deposit, the statutory amount shall be refunded to the AppellantInsurance Company along with accrued interest, on proper application.

The MACA is accordingly disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
