The Petitioner is a successful bidder in a tender notice for leasing out of cashew plantation Lot No.21/2019 and by filing W.P.(C) No.11648 2019 had prayed for a direction to the Odisha Forest Development Corporation to execute the work orders/handover possession of Lot No.21/2019 or in the alternative to return the deposited amount along with interest at the market rate. The said writ petition was disposed of vide order dated 04.12.2019 directing the authorities concerned to dispose of the Petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2019 in the aforesaid regard within four weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order. Since the needful was not done within the time, hence the present contempt.
3. None has put in appearance on behalf of the Petitioner.

4. The record reveals that the work period pursuant to the tender notice was for the crop year 2019-20 and 2020-21, which by efflux of time has become infructuous.
5. In view of the above, the contempt proceeding is dropped and the CONTC is dismissed as infructuous.
