This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following prayer:- i.

To quash the punishment order dated 26.10.2016 under Annexure-5;

ii.

To quash the appellate authority's order dated 8.11.2017 under Annexure-7.

iii.

To quash the Revisional authority's order dated 30.01.2018 under Annexure-9;

iv.

To pass such other order/orders as would deem fit and proper;

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has been filed a representation before the Director General, Home guards and Fire Services, Odisha, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.2 on 27.10.2021 under Annexure-10 but, the said Opposite Party

// 2 // has not considered the grievance of the Petitioner as of now. 5.

Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 6.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Director General, Home guards and Fire Services, Odisha, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 27.10.2021 under Annexure-10 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. It is needless to mention here that the representation of the Petitioner shall be considered by passing a speaking and reasoned order on the same. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 7.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
