This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

The grievance of the Petitioners in the present writ petition is that they are not getting salary/remuneration at par with the TGT Scale of pay although they are holding TGT posts. Further they prayed that they may be absorbed in the post of T.G.T. teachers by extending the status of Trained Graduate Teachers and also the scale of pay prescribed for the post within a stipulated time. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioners that the Petitioners have filed a representation dated 18.06.2021, which is pending consideration before the Secretary, School and Mass Education Department , Odisha.

Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department submits that the representation under Annexure-12 has been submitted before the wrong Authority, therefore, the same has not been considered by the said Authority as yet.

In view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the present Petitioners to file a fresh/separate representation before the appropriate Authority stating all the grounds available to them in law within a period of two weeks from today. In the event such representation is filed within the stipulated time, the same shall be considered in accordance with law and dispose of within a period of four weeks from the date of filing such representation. It is needless to mention here that the Authority shall communicate the decision on the representation of the Petitioners within a period of ten days thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
