Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 15.01.2022 in connection with Kantamal P.S. Case No.12 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No.25 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., Kantamal for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 399/402 of IPC. 4.

Considering the submissions made, materials on record and the fact that charge sheet has already been submitted as also the fact that the petitioner appears to have been implicated in the case entirely on the basis of the statement of the co-accused, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail.
