Heard Mr.B.Seth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.H.M.Dhal, learned Addl. Government Advocate. 3.

According to Mr.Panigrahi the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in extending him the benefits under the Odisha Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme, 2006 though he is eligible to receive the same. He further submits though highlighting all his grievances, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 26.11.2020 under Annexure-4 before the Collector, Sundargarh (opposite party No.3), however, no decision has yet been taken on the same. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Collector, Sundargarh (opposite party No.3) to take a

// 2 // decision on the above noted representation under Annexure-4 in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
