1. This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode.

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. R.C. Mohanty, learned counsel for the opposite party No.3.

3. The petitioners file this writ petition for grant of registration certificate from the Registrar, Orissa Nurses & Midwives Council, Bhubaneswar-1 for their employment as Auxiliary NurseMidwife/H.W. (F).

4. Mr. G.R. Sethi, learned counsel for the petitioners contended that though the petitioners made application in Annexure-4 series, but till date they have not received any registration certificate from the opposite parties.

5. Mr. R.C. Mohanty, learned counsel for the opposite party No.3 contended that since the application was made in 2014 and in the

// 2 // meantime more than 7 years have passed, the opposite parties must have issued the registration certificate, but the learned counsel for the petitioners has no instructions to that effect.

6. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. If any cause of action still survives, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of their grievance, if so advised.

7. As the restrictions due to resurgence of Covid-19 are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the Advocate concerned with his/her seal, in the manner prescribed vide Court's Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020 and Court's Office Order dated 7th January, 2022.
