1. The matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

2. Heard Mr. S.C. Dash, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and Mr. S. Swain, learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Party No.1.

3. By means of this writ petition, the Petitioner has challenged the order dated 29.10.2021 passed in Case No.370 of 2021 by the Grievance Redressal Forum (GRF), Cuttack, Annexure-6 to the writ petition whereby the Opposite Party No.1 was directed to pay Rs.25,000/- as an interim payment against the arrears within 24 hours of the order to avert disconnection. It has been further directed that the arrears to be assessed for 24 months of the unbilled units. That 24 months will only include July, 2018 to June, 2020. Such arrears, in terms of the direction has been

accounted at Rs.1,58,894/- and out of that, the Petitioner has paid Rs.25,000/- in terms of the said impugned order. Thus, the balance amount for the said unbilled period for 24 months comes to Rs.1,33,894/-.

4. Mr. S. Swain, learned counsel appearing for the Opposite Party No.1 has fairly submitted that the Opposite Party No.1 is ready to pay the said amount.

5. Counsel for the parties have agreed that this Court can divide the said arrears into 5 (five) instalments for payment by the Opposite Party No.1.

6. Accordingly, the Opposite Party No.1 is directed to pay the said arrear amount for the unbilled period of 24 months in five equal instalments. But the current electricity charges shall be regularly paid by the Opposite Party No.1.

7. In view of the said consensus, the parties are directed to oblige the said terms without any sort of deviation. The writ petition, thus, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. (S. Talapatra) Judge ( B.P. Routray) Judge MKP/B.K. Barik
