This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State. Perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:- "Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, it is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly issue writ in the nature of mandamus or any other writ applicable and direct to the Opposite Party Nos.1 to 3 for releasing the Arrear Pensionary benefit from 09.10.2007 to April 2020 to the petitioner ("Unmarried and Physically disabled Daughter"), after the death of the mother of the petitioner, namely, Late Khursida Begum, who was getting family pension after the death of the father of the petitioner, namely, Late Rahim Khan, as

And pass such other order(s)/direction(s) as may be deemed fit proper in the bonafide interest of justice." 4.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that the petitioner has filed a detailed representation ventilating his grievance on 17.08.2021 under Annexure-10. However, several months have been passed in the meantime. He further submits that the Director Text Book Production and Marketing in Orissa, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.2 has not taken decision on such representation. 5.

Learned counsel for the State submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the grievance petition of the petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 6.

Considering the submissions made by the respective parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Director Text Book Production and Marketing in Orissa, Bhubaneswar-Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 17.08.2021 under Annexure-10 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further the Opposite Party No.2 is directed to consider strictly the representation of the Petitioner and dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application. ( A.K. Mohapatra ) Judge Jagabandhu
