This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard Mr. B. Routray, learned Senior Counsel appearing along with Mr. S.D. Routray, learned counsel for the petitioners, and learned State Counsel appearing for the opposite parties.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to treat the petitioners as Constables under the Odisha State Police in terms of the advertisement under Annexure-2 and grant all other service benefits at par with regular Constables under the Odisha State Police including promotion, keeping in view their seniority and other norms as prescribed.

Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that highlighting the grievances, the petitioners have made representation to opposite party no.2 vide Annexure-8 and the

same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection. 5.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to consider the representation filed by the petitioners vide Annexures-8 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy this order.
