1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

3. The present petitioner has approached this Court ventilating her grievance that although under the 6th pay revised pay, 40% arrear amounting to Rs.64,766/- has been credited to her GPF account, but it has not been intimated to the Controller of Accounts, Educational Employees Pension and Provident Fund, Odisha, Bhubaneswar. The said arrear bill was passed by the office of the District Education Officer, Cuttack in the month of March, 2009. Though the petitioner has approached the District Education Officer, Cuttack several times for crediting the said amount to her GPF Account No.677 SE(C), but it has not yet been credited. The petitioner is on the verge of her retirement, in the month of June, 2022.

4. In view of such facts and circumstances of the case, the opposite party no.3- District Education Officer, Cuttack is directed to settle the said amount in favour of the petitioner by

// 2 // taking necessary steps within a period of one month hence, failing which the opposite party no.3- District Education Officer, Cuttack will have to be personally present in Court to explain the delay.

5. The petitioner is granted liberty to file contempt petition, if the requisitioning officer fails to comply this order.

6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.

7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
