This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to regularize his service against the post of Cook-cum-Attendant (CCA) in Group-D presently held by him on completion of 6 years of contractual service in the said post with all other consequential service and financial benefits since similarly situated persons have availed the same benefit at Annexure-5 within a stipulated time.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the case of the petitioner has already been recommended vide Annexure-4 and, therefore, direction may be given to the authority to take a decision on the same within a stipulated time taking into consideration the judgment of this Court in the case of Manas Ranjan Pattnaik v. State of

Odisha, 2021 (II) OLR 109, to which learned State Counsel has raised no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the recommendation vide Annexure-4 taking into consideration the judgment of this Court in the case of Manas Ranjan Pattnaik v. State of Odisha, 2021 (II) OLR 109, and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
