This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The grievance of the Petitioners in this case is with regard to non-payment of compensation though transmission lines drawn over their scheduled lands in spite of their representation dated 2nd August, 2021 made before the Opposite Party No.2-Managing Director, Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Vani Vihar, Bhubanesar under Annexure-4, no compensation has been paid to them. As such, they have come to this Court seeking a direction for payment of the compensation.

However, during the course of hearing, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that it would suffice, if the Petitioners' representation under Annexure-4 is considered by the authority taking note of the Notification dated 15th October, 2015 issued by the Government of India through Ministry of Power under Annexure-2 and Notification No.30194/R&DM dated 11th September, 2017 issued by the Government of Odisha through R&DM Department under Annexure-3.

Considering the limited grievance of the Petitioners, it is directed that the representation of the Petitioners under Annexure-4 be disposed of, if the same is pending, by the Opposite Party No.2-Managing Director, Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Ltd., Vani Vihar, Bhubanesar by taking note of the aforesaid Notifications within one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order and the decision thereof be communicated to the Petitioners not later than fifteen days of disposal of such order. 6.

With the aforesaid order, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
