Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite parties no.1 & 2 to give him promotion to the rank of Revenue Inspector (R.I) from the date of his juniors, i.e. opposite parties no.4 & 5 got promotion as per Annexure-8 and grant all consequential service & financial benefits as due and admissible in his favour within a stipulated period.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner stated that highlighting the grievance, the petitioner has made representation to opposite party no.2 vide Annexure-6, which has been forwarded by opposite party no.3-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Deo Irrigation Project, Karanjia vide Annexure-7 dated 31.12.2021. Therefore, direction may be issued to consider the same within a stipulated time, to which
learned Additional Government Advocate has no objection. 5.
In view of the aforesaid limited grievance of the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioner under Annexure-6, which has been forwarded by opposite party no.3-Special Land Acquisition Officer, Deo Irrigation Project, Karanjia vide Annexure-7 dated 31.12.2021 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
