Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2021 in connection with Phiringia P.S. Case No. 158 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No. 103 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Phulbani for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C)/25/29 of NDPS Act.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is, therefore rejected.

The BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
