This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). This interim application has been filed for modification of the order dated 22.02.2022.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the G.R. Case number which is mentioned in the third paragraph of the order dated 22.02.2022 as '225 of 2022' shall be read as '205 of 2022'.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that merely because the name of the petitioner is not mentioned in the F.I.R., the learned court may not accept the surrender of the petitioner.

// 2 // If the petitioner's name finds place anywhere in the case record as accused, then the learned Court below shall accept the surrender and carry out the order dated 22.02.2022. The date of surrender of the petitioner is extended till 31st March 2022. The rest part of the order dated 22.02.2022 remains unaltered.

I.A. is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
