This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

This is an application under section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Baripada Town P.S. Case No. 346 of 2015 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1218 of 2015 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Baripada for the commission of the alleged offences punishable under sections 406/409/420 of the Indian Penal Code. This is a case of the year 2015.

In view of the available materials on record, while not inclining to grant anticipatory bail to the

// 2 // petitioner, it is observed that in the event the petitioner surrenders and moves for bail in the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of by the learned Courts below in accordance with law expeditiously and if any coaccused has been released on bail in the meantime, the claim of parity shall be taken into account. The case diary be made available before the Court concerned for disposal of the case.

The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
