This matter is taken up through Hybrid mode.

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Balasore-Opposite Party No.1 to conclude the Consolidation Case No.7 of 2019 filed under Sections 34 and 35 of Odisha Consolidation of Holdings and Prevention of Fragmentation of Land Act, 1972 within a stipulated period.

Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that although the Consolidation Case has been pending since 2019 no notice has yet been issued to the Opposite Parties therein. Hence, the Petitioner is highly prejudiced. 4.

Taking into consideration the submissions made by learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, disposes of the writ petition with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files a memorandum within a period of two weeks hence along with

// 2 // certified copy of this order for consideration of the matter for issuance of notice to Opposite Parties, Collector, BalasoreOpposite Party No.1 shall do well to consider the same in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter, if the matter is otherwise ready.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed with the direction, as aforesaid.

Issue urgent certified copy of the order on proper application.
