This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.
(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying for a direction to the Opposite Parties to release the salary of father from 1.5.2014 to 8.2.2021 with all consequential service benefits. Further a prayer has been made to quash the order dated 29.04.2014 under Annexure-5. It is further directed to grant all financial and consequential service benefits treating the date of birth of the Petitioner as 3.11.1964.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that highlighting his grievance, the Petitioner has filed a representation before the Managing Director, Odisha State Cashew Development Corporation Ltd., Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party No.1 under Annexure-8 praying therein to release the dues of his father as due and admissible to him in law. It is further submitted that the
// 2 // Authorities are not taking any steps on the representation of the Petitioner. Accordingly, a prayer has been made to direct the Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the said representation expeditiously.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 9.7.2021 under Annexure-8 within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Opposite Party No.1 is also directed to consider the representation in accordance with law and shall dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
