This Contempt application is filed alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court dated 26.10.2021 passed in W.P.(C) No.28647 of 2021. 2.

In filing show cause dated 21.04.2022 it has been brought to the notice of this Court that for there is pendency of several litigations involving several plots the authority is not in a position to take a final decision. It is claimed that copy of which has not been served on the Petitioners as yet. Considering the stage of the proceeding and taking into consideration the objection of the contemnor, this Court opines that once the High Court directs for taking a decision on the representation, it is the responsibility of the competent authority to take a decision on such representation in accordance with law and in the event there is some lawful obstruction, nothing prevents the Officer concerned in dealing with the same in appropriate manner and there is no possibility in keeping such application pending long since. This Court nowhere finds any such application at the instance of the contemnor either seeking extension of time for disposal of the representation or for modification of the order. This is a surprised case.

Be that as it may, since the representation of the Petitioner has not been disposed of as yet, this Court directs the contemnor to dispose of the representation at the instance of the Petitioner strictly in terms of the order of this Court dated 26.10.2021 passed in W.P.(C) No.28647 of 2021, within a period of fifteen days from the date of communication of a copy of this order.

Learned counsel for the Contemnor is directed to serve a copy of this order on the Contemnor.
