The grievance of the Petitioner in this case is that he has filed an application dated 8th January, 2022 for transfer of the ownership of the vehicle bearing No.OD-11-E-1476 in favour of Opposite Party No.4 before the Opposite Party No.3Additional Regional Transport Officer, Rairangpur, but no action has yet been taken on the same. As such, he has come to this Court seeking a writ of mandamus to the Opposite Party No.3-Additional Regional Transport Officer, Rairangpur to dispose of his such application within a stipulated period.

Considering the limited grievance of the Petitioner and without expressing any merit on such application of the Petitioner, this Court dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Opposite Party No.3-Additional Regional Transport Officer, Rairangpur that if the aforesaid application of the Petitioner is pending, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible not later than one month of receipt of certified copy of this order and intimate the decision thereof to the Petitioner.
