Mr. Mekap, learned advocate appears on behalf of Order No.

applicant and submits, there has been willful and deliberate violation of order dated 12th January, 2022, whereby the bank was directed to consider his client's representation dated 28th December, 2020 seeking renewal of lease agreement on enhancement rent with renovation of premises. The bank, upon communication of the order, issued back dated letter dated 14th December 2021 to avoid clause in the subsisting agreement requiring three months notice for the bank to be able to vacate the premises before expiry of the term. He submits, act of the bank is contemptuous and, therefore, his client has applied. 2.

The direction, made ex-parte upon the bank, was for it to consider applicant's representation. It appears the bank has acted. If it has acted in violation of terms of existing agreement

// 2 // or intends to do so, applicant must find remedy from the civil Court.

With above observation the contempt application is disposed of.
