As conviction of the petitioner in a case of kidnapping for ransom has been upheld by Hon'ble the Supreme Court and the petitioner is in custody, this WPCRL against rejection of the remission by the State Government in its administrative side is not maintainable.

The petitioner, if so advised, may file appropriate petition for redressal of his grievance. Further, it is beneficial to mention here that, after one year, i.e., 12.04.2020, whether any order has been passed by the Board is not known to the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation, the WPCRL is disposed of. 6.
