Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 09.01.2022 in connection with Cantonment P.S. Case No.1 of 2022 corresponding to Special G.R. Case No.1 of 2022 of the Court of learned District and Sessions & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Cuttack for the alleged commission of offence under Section 21(b) of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Considering the submissions made, materials on record and the fact that the seized contraband is less than commercial quantity, being 120 grams of brown sugar, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court

on each date of posting of the case. Further he shall personally appear before the IIC of Cantonment Police Station on every Monday and Friday at 10 a.m. till submission of final form. 5.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
