Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 14.11.2021 in connection with Nalco Township P.S. Case No.228 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.1525 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 399/402 of IPC.

Considering the submissions made, materials on record, the period of detention already undergone and the fact that similarly placed co-accused person has already been released on bail as per order passed by this Court in BLAPL No. 10463 of 2021, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that the petitioner shall report

before the IIC of the concerned Police Station on every Monday in between 10 am to 2 pm for the next six months and shall appear in person before the Court in seisin of the case on each and every date of posting of the case till conclusion of the trial.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
