Heard Mr. Sarat Kumar Jena, learned counsel for the petitioner and Miss Sanjibani Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

Before issuance of copy, the Registry is to verify the defect has been removed as undertaken.

Being aggrieved by the order dtd. 16.03.2021 passed in G.R. Case No. 257 of 2020 by the learned J.M.F.C., Khallikote issuing order of NBW, the petitioner has approached this Court. While prima facie, this Court does not find any infirmity in the order passed but in order to allow the petitioner to effectively defend himself, it is directed that, in the event, the petitioner

surrenders within a period of three weeks hence, he shall be released on bail on earlier terms.

It is made clear that, in the event the petitioner does not surrender within the time fixed, it shall be open to the prosecution to take effective steps in terms of the impugned order. 6.

While being released on bail, it is directed that the petitioner shall furnish his mobile number and email I.D., if any. 7.

The CRLMC is accordingly disposed of.
