Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite party no.2 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the rank/post of Revenue Inspector as he comes under the zone of consideration by sending his CCRs to the Departmental Promotion Committee or in the alternative for any reasons the CCRs of the petitioner for preceding five years are not available, then his case for promotion may be considered in terms of the circular dated 24.08.2020 issued by the Government of Odisha in General Administration and Public Grievance Department, Bhubaneswar under Annexure-3, at least from the date his juniors have got promotion to the said rank/post, within a stipulated time. 4.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made representation to the opposite party no.2 vide Annexure-4 and the same may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time,

taking into consideration Annexure-3, to which learned State counsel has raised no objection.

As agreed to by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.2 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner vide Annexure-4 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, taking into consideration Annexure-3, within a period of three months from the date of production of authenticated/certified copy of this order. 6.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
