ORDER
20.09.2022 Order No.
09.
1.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
2.
None appears for the petitioner when the matter is called. 3.
Learned senior counsel Mr. C.A. Rao, is present on behalf of the Opposite Party-OSFC and Mr. S.N. Pattnaik, learned Additional Government Advocate represented the State. 4.
Considering the prayer made the writ petition to allow the petitioner to continue in service till 60 years. The same has become infructuous with the efflux of time even otherwise since the policy decision relating to extension of date was w.e.f. from 06.09.2014 in terms of Annexure-5 and as petitioner has admittedly retired on 31.08.2014, the writ petition does not merit consideration. 5.
View of, this Court is fortified by the judgments of the Apex Court reported in AIR 2021 SC 3457 more particularly Paragraph-19-24 thereof.
6.
Hence, the writ petition being devoid of merit, the Writ stands rejected.
