This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Counter affidavit dated 09.05.2022 is on record. Copy of the same has been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Addl. Government Advocate. At paragraphs-4, 7 and 8 of the counter affidavit, the following has been stated:

"4. That the petitioner in the present writ petition has challenged the action of the opposite parting in not renewing he Registration certificate of State Board of Medical Laboratory Technology & Medical Radiation Technology, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.

Accordingly he payer for a direction to issue the same by renewing such certificate of Registration forthwith.

7. That, when the matter stood thus, this Deponent (opp.party no.2) to resolve the issue, has sought for a legal opinion in this regard. On receipt of such legal opinion an emergency meeting was held on 06.04.2022. After careful discussion on the issue, it was resolved that renewal of registration shall be allowed subject to checking of following document.

// 2 // (i) Old registration certificate issued by the State DMLT/DMRT Board.

(ii) Medical Laboratory Technician Training Certificate.

The copy of the proceedings of the meeting held on dated 06.04.2022 is filed herewith as Annexure-A.

That, the aforesaid decision of the council/board was approved by the State Government in its letter dated 13.04.2022.

Accordingly steps have already been taken with regard to issuance of renewal of the certificate of registration."

In view of the specific stand taken by the authorities in the counter affidavit as quoted above, the writ petition is disposed of as already steps have been taken with regard to issuance of renewal of the certificate of registration in accordance with law.

It is also directed that the authority shall take expeditious steps in the matter.
