This matter is taken up through hybrid Order No.

arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

The contempt has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the interim order dated 28th February, 2017 and final order dated 14th March, 2018 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.3394 of 2017.

A compliance affidavit dated 28th June, 2022 of Smt. Basanti Behera, Secretary, Odisha Nurses & Midwives Examination Board (ONMEB) has been filed in Court. Para 5 and 6 of the same reads as under:

That, the writ petition was disposed of on dated 14.03.2018 with a direction that the petitioner institution shall produce the admission register of the student of the year 2015-16, Account Register of students admitted on or before 27.11.2015. Attendance Register and documents relating to qualification of the students, on 16.03.2018 before the Director, Nursing who will verify the same and if found in order, shall allow the students to appear in the examination.

6. That, it is pertinent to mention here that after receipt of the relevant documents produced by petitioner and after verification of the relevant documents of the students, they were allowed to appear the ANM examination.

The petitioners had filled up the forms on 30.05.2018 & 31.05.2018, Admit Card was issued between 01.06.201802.06.2018 and the Special Examination was conducted at Special Examination Centre i.e. SONSCBMCH, Cuttack. The theory examination was conducted on 04.06.2018, 05.06.2018, 06.06.2018, 07.06.2018, 08.06.2018 & 11.06.2018, practical examination was conducted in June, 2018 i.e. in between 12.06.201823.06.2018 and the final result was declared on 04.08.2018. As such the order/direction of the Hon'ble Court passed on 28.02.2017 and as well as the final order dated 14.03.2018 has been complied with."

4. In view of the above, it is conceded that the present contempt petition has become infructuous.

5. The CONTC is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
