This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr. S.P. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Mr. Das, the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the Deputy Collector, Judicial, Rayagada on 20.09.2021 under Annexure-9 intimating him that the District Magistrate, Rayagada has been pleased to reject his application for renewal of the arms license bearing No.01/2007 and also by order dated 19.01.2022 passed by the District Magistrate & Collector, Rayagada under Annexure-12 by which his arms license bearing No.01/2008 has been put under suspension. 4.
Mr. D.K. Mohanty submits that instead of rushing to this Court, the petitioner should have approached the appellate authority challenging the impugned orders under Section 18 of the Arms Act, 1959.

In such background, Mr. Das wants to withdraw this writ petition as he proposes to file appeals challenging the impugned
// 2 // orders.

Considering the submissions made, this writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn. It is made clear that in the event appeals are filed by the petitioner challenging the above noted orders under Annexures-9 & 12, the appellate authority is directed to take decisions on the same in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
