I.A. No.2105 of 2022 07.

1. Heard Mr. A.P. Bose, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. K. Das, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State-Opposite Party.

2. Perused the copy of the affidavit dated 16.12.2022 filed by the brother of the Petitioner (deponent) and also perused the copy of the instructions dated 18.12.2022 given by the IIC, Orient P.S. to the Advocate General, Odisha, Cuttack along with the Discharge Certificate dated 17.12.2022 of Samaleswari Hospital, Jharsuguda.

3. Upon hearing both the parties and considering the fact that the Petitioner has undergone treatment in Samaleswari Hospital, Jharsuguda, the period of interim bail granted to the Petitioner by

this Court vide order dated 23.08.2022 is extended till 31st January, 2023.

4. It is made clear that the Petitioner shall surrender in the trial court on or before 31st January, 2023, failing which learned trial court shall take appropriate steps including issuance of NBW of arrest to apprehend him.

5. The I.A. is disposed of.

6. An urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
