Heard Mr. B.B. Swain, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Mr. G.C. Sahu, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.P. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the State Opposite Parties.

The Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking direction to the Opposite Parties to refund the amount deposited by him as the highest bidder of Singsal sand bed for the year 2014-15. 4.

The Opposite Parties have filed Counter Affidavit, paragraph-14 whereof states as follows:

"14. That in reply to the averments made in Paragraph-12 of writ application, it is humbly submitted that steps are being taken to refund bid amount to the petitioner. In the mean time, as indicated above, Government in Revenue & Disaster Management Department accorded permission to refund Rs.3.50 lakhs and the rest payable amount will be paid after receipt of further concurrence of R & D.M. Department". 5.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of in terms

of paragraph-14 of the Counter Affidavit.
