W.P.(C) No.4460 of 2022 Laxmi @ Lakshmi Narayan Das ....

Petitioner Mr. S.P. Das, Advocate -versusState of Odisha & others ....

Opp. Parties Mr. D.K. Mohanty, Additional Standing Counsel

CORAM:

JUSTICE BISWAJIT MOHANTY Order No.

ORDER

15.02.2022 01.

1.

This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. S.P. Dash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr. Das, the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction of the authorities more particularly, the Marketing Inspector-cum-Supply Inspector, Aska Block (opposite party No.4) in taking a decision on his representation with regard to collection of paddy from him. In this context, he draws the attentions of this Court to the text message received by the petitioner under Annexure-2 according to which 17.02.2022 has been fixed to be the last date of selling of paddy. He further submits that though the petitioner has filed a representation on 03.02.2022 under Annexure-3 before opposite party No.4 however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted representation before 17.02.2022.

// 2 // 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-3 in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application in course of the day.
