Heard Mr. P.K. Mishra, learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. P.P. Mohanty, learned Additional Government Advocate.

Since the period of lease has already been over in the meantime, this Court is not inclined to entertain this Writ Petition. However, if any demand has been raised towards Royalty, Surface rent, Dead rent, IT, District Mineral Foundation amount etc., it is open to the Petitioner to pursue his remedy before the appropriate forum in terms of the DTCN/agreement executed between the parties, which is applicable to them.

With the aforesaid liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
