IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK

Petitioner Mr.R.K. Lenka, Advocate -versusState of Odisha ....
Opp. Party Mr. A.K. Beura, Addl. Standing Counsel
CORAM:
JUSTICE S.K. SAHOO Order No.
ORDER
28.02.2022 01.
This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode).
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that no F.I.R. has yet been lodged and in connection with a matrimonial dispute, the petitioner, who is the husband of the so-called informant, is apprehending his arrest. Since no first information report has yet been registered, there is no apprehension of arrest of the petitioner. Therefore, I am not inclined to entertain this anticipatory bail application. The petitioner is at liberty to seek appropriate remedy the moment the F.I.R. is lodged.
The ABLAPL stands disposed of.
Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
