Heard Mr. Routray, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Zafrulla, learned Additional Standing Counsel through video conferencing mode.

According to Mr. Routray, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which he has been dealt with by the A.S.I. of Police attached to the Office of C.S.I, Cuttack UPD. He further submits that though highlighting all his grievances the petitioner has approached the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack UPD (opposite party No.4) on 2.2.2022 under Annexure-1 by filing a grievance petition through speed post on the same date but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the grievance petition under Annexure-1 within a specific time period. 3.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cuttack UPD

// 2 // (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the grievance petition dated 2.2.2022 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 4.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
