1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.

2. Heard.

3. In this writ petition, the petitioner being a trained graduate and trained intermediate has applied for the post of Sikshya Sahayak in respect of Mayurbhanj district pursuant to the Advertisement dated 27.12.2016 issued by the opposite parties for the session 2016-17. But the candidature of the petitioner was rejected on the ground of overage, though she was placed in the select list.

4. The grievance of the petitioner in this case is that since backlog vacancies for the post of Sikshya Sahayak are there, the petitioner should have been engaged in terms of the judgment and order dated 23.12.2020 passed by this Court in W.A. No.701 of 2019.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation under Annexure1 to the opposite party No.1-Commissioner-cum- Secretary, School and Mass Education Department regarding consideration of her case for engagement in the post of Sikshya Sahayak for the year 2016-17 which is pending since 16.04.2021. He further submits that the said representation may be directed to be

// 2 // disposed of within a stipulated time, to which learned Standing Counsel for the Department of School and Mass Education has raised no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case of the petitioner, disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party No.1-Commissioner-cum- Secretary, School and Mass Education Department to dispose of the representation under Annexure-1 filed by the petitioner by passing a reasoned order within a period of four weeks of production/presentation of certified copy of this order by intimating the said order to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.

8. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
