Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 27.01.2022 in connection with 2(a) C.C. Case No. 03 of 2022 corresponding to P.R. No. 81 of 2021-22 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cumSpecial Judge, Phulbani for the alleged commission of offence under Section 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act.

Considering the submissions made, the materials on record and the fact that the seized contraband is less than commercial quantity weighing 18 Kgs. of ganja, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial court on each date of posting of the case

without fail.

The BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
