02. 1. This matter is taken up through Virtual Mode.
2. The present contempt has been filed for the alleged willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court vide order dated 22.04.2008 in OJC No.14862 of 1996 and subsequent order dated 17.09.2008 passed in W.P.(C) No.13253 of 2008 directing the parties to maintain status quo and order dated 27.4.2017 passed in W.P.(C) No.7148 of 2017.
3. At the time of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present contempt has become infructuous as the said status quo order stood merged in the final proceeding deciding the eviction case initiated against the petitioner.
4. In view of the above submission, the CONTC is accordingly dismissed as infructuous.
5. As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a printout of the order available in the High Court's website, at par with certified copy, subject to
