IN THE HIGH COURT OF ORISSA AT CUTTACK
BLAPL NO.1372 OF 2022 Ravi Kumar Chakravaish @ Bittu Singh @ Tiger ....
Petitioner Mr. P.K. Nanda, Advocate -versusState of Odisha ....
Opposite Party Mr. S.K. Nayak, AGA.
CORAM:
MR. JUSTICE D.DASH
ORDER
21.10.2022 02.
1.
This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement Order No.
(virtual/physical) mode.
2.
Learned Counsel for the Petitioner filing a memo in Court today, which is taken on record submits to have received no instruction from the Petitioner being not able to establish any contact with him despite all possible efforts. He therefore expresses his inability to pursue the matter further on behalf of the Petitioner.
Record reveals that the Petitioner had been granted interim bail till 08.06.2022. It has been reported by the office that the surrender certificate has not yet been filed nor the relevant order-sheet of the Court has been placed on record from the side of the Petitioner.
3.
In that view of the matter, the BLAPL stands dismissed. It is however observed that in the event the Petitioner has not yet been surrendered, the Trial Court would do well to
// 2 // take all such effective steps as provided in order to secure his presence for being taken into custody.
Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
(D. Dash), Judge.
